description: We are a burgeoning group of film and video students, actors and writers that call ourselves The Room Next Door. There are around 14 of us. and we are between the ages of 19 and 24 and we all currently attend Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. We are putting together something that we have yet to see brought to the internet in any quality way: a variety/comedy show. The show will have non-tradition and traditional comedy sketches along with musical acts that are being set up from around Ohio and Michigan. We have all worked on bloated college projects that only work as \"learning experiences\" and are ready to tackle a real project. We have united in becoming a productive team with individual assets that value the group as a whole. We are all creative and driven people. We have loads of experience working behind and in front of cameras. We personally own professional quality film, video, and sound equipment and have access to most anything else we could need. The only thing we can not scrounge up is lighting. The minimum amount of money we need right now is around $1000 dollars to finish up a minimal lighting fixture collection, although any more money would be more than appreciated. We have been planning and righting all summer and begin shooting as soon as we can all get back together at school on August 15th.
