My vlog will be 15 minutes a week (3 minutes a day, 5 days a week). Each day I will interview 20-30 individuals and ask them all one question. each day there is a new question with new individuals. The $2200 I need is for a new HD camera. I would like my picture quality and audio to be of the highest quality and I think with the Sony HVR-A1U I will make that possible.

timeline: I\'m commited to doing this as my full-time job. I\'m ready to start immediately!

description: I believe that real, everyday people you pass on the street are so amazingly interesting that I\'d love the opportunity to speak with as many of them as I can. This vlog would be as much of a social experiment as a social commentary. And, I think it would be exciting for viewers to know that every day they can tune in and see new people, with new, surprising answers to ONE question!

Emailed him on 8/23 asking some questions, this was his response:

hi ryanne,

I did a videoblog once a week for a few months introducing america to new

music from around the world. I did everything on my own from writing to

fliming to editing and posting. I had a pretty strong following, although

most were people I know or friends of friends of friends. The vlog was

posted on my .mac site and when I let mt membership run out so ended 'Listen

Up!'.

I'm sort of happy that it did end because the quality of the video and the

sound quality was not up to my standards. In my experience, when you're

shooting interviews or presenting, if the video quality is not remotely

close to that for which you see on television and the sound is even worse,

no one will watch. Look at 'Rocketboom'; do you think they'd have millions

of viewers of week if the sound was bad and the picture wasn't of the

highest quality? This is why HD is the only option if I want to do my next

project right.

'Jeremiah's One Question' will be entertaining and, above all, real. The

questions will not fit into any specific catoegory and I think it's that

randomness that would make the vlog so interesting. each new day anything

could be asked, but i guarantee, no matter what that question is, the

answers will be entertaining and that's what really matters.

As far as 'paying the rent' I have my own business and my own hours and this

project more than realistically fits into my schedule and my budget. Once I

get my hvr-a1u i will be ready to go out and devote 10-20 hrs a week to this

project and it will be amazing to watch.
