usage: The money will be used to purchase a 500gig external hard drive (my 160gig is full) and an external DVD burner which will enable me continue working on the online video interview series I create but has been on hold for several months.

description: independentChicago is an online video interview series I started in 2005. The series features interviews with indie Chicago artists, musicians, poets, artists, etc., about their art and lives as indie artists. The series is open to an person indpendently creating art in any medium, including videobloggers. I have several interviews lined up but I\'ve run out of hard drive space so I\'m unable to edit any video.

$600 will enable me to purchase a 500gig external hard drive and a DVD burner so I can resume shooting new interviews with both Chicago artists and indie artists from various parts of the country at the Allied Media Conference at the end of June 2006. I make no money from producing this series. I do it out of love for indie arts and being able to help local, and not so local, indie artists get some more exposure.

With a new hard drive, I can create at least 2 new 10-20minute episodes published per month (artist\'s schedule permitting) for several months.
